Organizing DashBoards

Hi ,
I’m looking to organize a dashboard with over 10+ tabs. Is there a way to provide users with vertical dropdown menu options? This would greatly enhance the user experience.

Hello @snarayanan Hope this message finds you well

I got some suggestion thinking that In QS, while there isn’t a direct feature to create a vertical dropdown menu for organizing multiple tabs, you can enhance user navigation and experience by using this:

  1. Use Parameters and Controls: Create a parameter for each tab or section you want to display. You can then use these parameters to control which visualizations or data are shown on the dashboard. This acts as a pseudo-navigation system.

  2. Custom Navigation Panel: Design a custom navigation panel using text boxes or images that act as buttons. These can be linked to actions that change the parameter values, effectively switching between different dashboard views.

Using these suggestions, you can simulate a vertical dropdown menu experience, improving the overall usability of your dashboard.

Please, tell me if it’s helps you

Hi @snarayanan,
It’s been awhile since we last heard from you, did you have any additional questions regarding your initial post?

If we do not hear back within the next 3 business days, I’ll close out this topic.

Thank you!

Thanks for the suggestion. This should work for me.
