Continuing the discussion from Hiding Sections on a Paginated Report:
Want to continue this discussion as I have found a workaround for this use case.
If a Pixel-Perfect report is configured to use parameters, you are able to show/hide visuals within sections based on parameter values.
To achieve this:
- Select visual or report object you want to hide
- Navigate to Properties → Interactions → Rules
- Check “Hide this Visual by Default”
- Add a rule to determine whether to render the visual
This will effectively result in an empty section.
I’m unclear on whether, in the final output, there will be a blank spot where the section should be. But this accomplishes the dynamic show/hide.
