Privacy and PII controls

Hi,

We can’t find controls for the web search options, it simply says it is searched for from the us-east-1 zone. We would like to understand what options (if any) are available in the search (avoidance of PII data, no data stored in search etc. etc. ). We can get that with Bedrock, however, it isn’t clear how or if this is available in quick suite?

Thanks!

Hi @garry.johnston,

Welcome to the Quick Community! To my knowledge, I do not think there is currently a method in Quick to check controls for web search options, so I would try to use Bedrock or other AWS services and potentially see if you can connect both services whenever necessary.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Luis,

So presently, I would setup an action that calls bedrock and expose the action to specific or all agents and disable the base quick suite web search?

Thanks

Hi @garry.johnston,

Yes, I would try to set up the action and leave it to open whatever agents desired to see if it works. In terms of disabling web search, I actually was able to find this documentation discussing this feature for Quick Research. Although this may not able to your use case, I would also recommend to contact creating a support ticket, as AWS Support should be able to confirm if that feature is available across the chat agents and/or other Quick services.

Hope this helps!
