I’m curious to know if there are plans to introduce native real-time streaming capabilities for Amazon Quick Sight dashboards. Specifically, will there be support for continuous, automatic updates of dashboard data as new data streams in, without requiring manual refreshes or scheduled updates?

Just to clarify, as opposed to talking about Direct Query, you mean more specifically that data on visuals just smoothly update as opposed to a visual or page refresh?

Yes, I am specifically referring to smooth visual updates, where the data on the visuals updates seamlessly without requiring a manual refresh of the visual or the page.

Second this request - it would open up new use-cases for QS (including control-centre type scenarios), plus be a helpful selling proposition for existing dashboards for when data is more dynamic and may change while the dashboard is still open.
I believe this is something that other competing platforms are capable of handling, e.g. Power BI Real-Time Intelligence
There is a solution in the following blog post talking about dashboard with auto refresh using Direct Query. Agree that we should continue to improve to make it more streamline
