I utilized QuickSight Q on another project a few years ago. I brought this feature up as a possible solution for my client’s analyst and business users. I have been conducting some discovery research to present it further internally. Has Q been deprecated and moved to the new AI Assistant feature?
We are exploring a solution like Q that will allow analysts and business users the ability to create ad-hoc visuals outside of the dashboards we are building and maintaining currently. I am behind on all the awesome new updates over the last year or so and trying to catch up. Any information provided is greatly appreciated.
Hello @noahlacy45, things have definitely changed a bit, but I think you will find it even easier to accomplish what you are looking for.
Now, Amazon Quick rather than QuickSight (branding adjustment here) contains a ton of available Agentic AI features built in. Using chat agents, you can customize the data available to a user within a natural language prompt window to create visuals, dashboards, and reports on the fly!
There are some pricing changes that would be worth looking into, but you will get a lot more with the product overall.
