We have default relative date setting for a parameter (that is attached to a control) using a dataset and groupname but it seems there is a new feature for parameters (type date) that ignores the setting and assign fixed dates. The option seems to be gone. Does anyone know how we can achieve default setting by datasets now?
It does not allow the selected dynamic default to be shown anymore…
Found the answer. Use the Fixed date option and assign a date. If a Dynamic value is set, it ignore the Fixed date and uses the Dynamic value from the dataset.
Out of curiosity, were you using the Dynamic Default Parameters as a workaround to update the default value to ‘today’ or something like that? Im wondering if they new Rolling Defaults option fixes what you were doing before.
