Setting a date Parameter based on a field in the dataset

I have my dashboard setup to use parameters to choose a time period and view revenue in that period.

I’ve done it this way in order to create calculated fields that I can compare.

I’d like to be able to set the default to the most recent date I have in my dataset. This would be especially powerful if I could set it to the most recent date of a calculated date field.

Currently the option to map max date field from dataset to Parameter is not available.

At AWS, our roadmap is primarily driven by our customers. Your feedback helps us build a better service. I have tagged this as a feature request.

This feature would be great. I have multiple use case where I would like to update parameter from a field. Using “action” triggered by user to update parameter is not sufficient.
