how do I get permission to connect my s3 folder to quicksight

Hey Odilio, if this is for populating a knowledge base from the Integration menu, take a look at this section in the user guide

If it is for KB, you will need the admin to allow Quick access to a specific S3 bucket from Quicks Admin screen. Administrator will need to navigate to Permissions/AWS resources and add the bucket, before you can use it from Integrations.

Hi Odilio,

It would be your administrator of Quick, that would need to add the S3 bucket of interest from Quicks Admin console. Under manage Quick, the admin will find a link on the left of the screen for AWS resources. This is where the S3 bucket can be added to Quick.

Alternatively your Quick Admin could add you as an admin, and you could follow these steps yourself. Your admin would once again need to navigate into Quicks manage account, and then select Manage users, and add your user to the Admin group.
