Scheduled Sendout via API

Good afternoon! My Company has asked me to research sending Dashboard Sendouts via an API call. Last I saw on the Community Board this was on the roadmap. Is this feature still up and coming? Is there another workaround in place?

Example:

  • I want to be able to assertively trigger a Dashboard Sendout
  • Take in a DashboardId and SheetId
  • Do a single sendout of a .pdf / .csv / .xlsx file to a list of emails

The closest API call I saw in my research was start_dashboard_snapshot_job, which is specifically related to Paginated Reports which I currently do not have access to at my Company

Hi @mwmcnall , this feature is in our product roadmap. Please keep an eye on recent releases here: Announcements - Amazon Quick Sight. As you mentioned in your post, you can use the Amazon Quick Sight Snapshot Export APIs for your use case but it requires Paginated reporting enabled in your account.
