I have a use case to represent WOW change in a metric by bps delta.
Hence by using a calculated field (numerator/denominator)*10000, I was able to get the bps (x) for each week.
Then, in order to calculate the bps delta, I created a calculated field (y) using lag function. Upon x-y, I am able to get bps delta.
For visualization, I am using a pivot table, with metric in row and weeks in columns and bps delta as values.
Issue arises when I am not able to sort bps delta by descending for a particular week.
Whenever I add two or more fields (like slot of interest id, locale) in rows,
I am not able to sort (sorting action does not result in highest/lowest value at top) the bps delta calculated measure for multiple weeks.
but, when I keep only one field (slot of interest id) in row, I am able to sort by desc or asc.
Would a possible compromise be to place the Locale in the Columns field well? This then allows rows to be sorted by bps_delta per week/per locale. For example I’ve mocked up the visual below:
Thank you @abacon for the response, I used the locale field to mock the issue that I am facing.
In place of locale field there would be a “cluster label” column which contains an array of words [max 5] separated by comma which would look clumsy when trying to fit in column
