Spice capacity clarification

Hi Team,

In my account I have 6 admin and 10 authors users. In my manage spice page I have around 150 gb free bundled capacity. Ideally we get 10 gb for each author license, can I get a calculation on how it is 150 GB? Should it not be 16*10 GB=160GB.

Thanks

Hi,

Do you see the correct number in the Total SPICE Capacity?

thanks for answering @andres007 total spice capacity is 186GB ->free 1gb+ bundled capacity-150 gb+rest. want to understand how bundled capacity calculation is done.

Do you have some datasets already stored in SPICE? That should show as Used Capacity.

Adding these 2 should give you your total SPICE capacity.

@andres007 i am talking about free bundled capacity calculation in total spice capacity. not spice usage

Hi,

This is what I see in my account.

I have 5 Admin/Authors, Free Tier is 1GB, Free Bundled Capacity is 49GB and Purchased 1GB.

Looks like the Free Tier + the Free Bundle Capacity add up to the Admin/Author*10GB, which is what is expected. If you do not see this, I would recommend filing a case with AWS Support where we can dive into the details so that we can help you further. Here are the steps to open a support case. If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf.

Hope this helps!
