Table columns not visible when connected to Andes 3.0 database via Athena Datasource on Quicksight

Welcome to the Quick Sight community!

In Quick Sight console, go to Manage Quick Sight ->Security & permissions, check that Athena and the right S3 buckets are authorized for Quick Sight. If managed by Lake Formation, grant proper Lake Formation permissions for Quick Sight to Glue tables/databases.

Hi @Sewen - Welcome to AWS Quick Sight community and thanks for posting the question. Did you add Athena and S3 services from Quick Sight console. Can you please go to Qucksight → Manage Quick Sight → Security & Permission → Quick Sight access to AWS services → select Athena and S3 and provide the require S3 bucket. After doing it, please try to access Athena table, if possible share the screenshot as well. Regards - Sanjeeb

In Lake Formation, you manage permissions with a grant/revoke syntax (which will be familiar to business intelligence (BI) developers), rather than defining JSON documents for IAM.
