Table formatting

Hi,
I have 2 tables budget and actual and I have merged these 2 tables as one view in Athena and imported into Quicksight. So basically, I want to do a Budget vs Actual comparison.
Now I want to set 2 columns as budget and actual. Under each category I want to have some columns. I tried pivot and table, but I’m unable create like in image.

I have attached my requirement image. Need Help. TIA

Hi @Nazhur

Hello @ErikG,
Yes, I want like the image shared by you.

I have fields like tenant, project, month, year, budget, actual.

As it is a budget vs actual comparison, so year field contains 2024, 2025 as data.

TIA.

You would need a field that contains budget and actual in order to achieve it.

Hi @ErikG,

yeah, I have created a field in Athena as type that contains actual and budget.

But, still not getting expected output. Is there a workaround to achieve the expected result.

Shouldn’t tanant and project are in columns as well?

I dropped the tenant, project in column but it is not as expected as my requirement like the template.

Hi @Nazhur,
It’s been awhile since last communication took place on this thread. Are you still working on this case and if so, do you have any additional questions or were you able to find a work around?

If we do not hear back within the next 3 business days, I’ll close out this topic.

Thank you!
