Unable to access analyses part of quicksight

I am not able to view or open any analyses of dashboards shared with me as part of my team. For some of the dashboards I needed to view the transformations that went in to perform root cause analysis. Can someone help/explain?

Welcome to the community!

It is possible that you are just a Reader in your QuickSight account that provides you access to the dashboards but not to the underlying Analysis.

Alternatively, if you do have the Author role but were not the one who built the analysis then it needs to be shared with you in order to be able to access the same. You may need to reach out to your administrator in order to address the issue in either case.

Generally the one who is in charge of your QuickSight account. It could be IT but not necessarily.

You can probably reach out to IT and they will guide as necessary!

Hi @gharshb - If you want to see the details on the analysis, the quickest way to get the permission of analysis. Just raise the request to owner of the dashboard ( who shared with you), to share the analysis or give the adequate permission to analysis as well.
