In the new New Data Preparation Experience , I am not able to assign geospatial datatype .
I was able to update that in the older view.

As the new data prep experience has just recently been rolled out, there are a number of features that are still unsupported, geospatial data types being one of those unsupported features. You can view a complete list on the below documentation:
To my understanding, these features will continue to get implemented in the new Data Prep version but until then, I would suggest switching back to the legacy version to handle these types of requirements. You can revert back to the legacy version in the top right corner (however it will need to be prior to any adjustments being made to your dataset, or else it will not allow you to switch back.
While this feature is listed on the document, meaning I believe there are plans for future implementation, I’ll also tag this as a feature request to promote visibility to the support team.
