Hi there,
I have connected a dataset via google sheets which contains a date field. It is formmated as a date in google sheets however when importing to quicksight it doesn’t recognise as a date, only recognises as a string. When I attempt to edit the format as a date I just get this error when I enter what seems to be a valid date format.

Agreed that this looks like a valid date format in Quick Sight. Have you tested out other valid formats to see if it accepts those; would be interested to see if it accepts a different format or if it’s having issues interpreting the format of your google sheets format all together.

It seems to me like this may be a broader issue or a bug within Quick Sight; I would suggest creating a support ticket to get more direct assistance from the AWS support team!
