How to edit date format for QS to read in 'MMM D, YYYY'

I have an Excel file as an input for a dashboard, and the date from the source file is in format of ‘Jan 1, 2023’. I tried to edit the date format on the data source, but QS is not reading it in correctly. Any advice on how to make it happen?

not sure it makes a difference but did you tried “MMM dd, yyyy”

have you tried to create a calculated field using parsedate function?

I guess that format is just not supported.

Maybe you can edit the date within your Excel?
