I’m a new AWS Free Tier user and trying to get started with Amazon QuickSight. When I attempt to sign up, I enter my email on the initial screen and click Create account. It briefly redirects me to the next page, but after about a second, it automatically sends me back to the sign-up screen.

1. Browser Cache and Cookies

Clear your browser cache and cookies completely

Try using an incognito/private browsing window

Test with a different browser entirely
2. Active AWS Console Session Conflict The redirect loop often occurs when you have an active AWS Console session in the same browser. This is a known issue where QuickSight detects existing AWS credentials and creates a conflict during the sign-up process.
Solution:

Sign out of any AWS Console sessions completely

Wait 5 minutes after signing out

Clear your browser cookies

Try the sign-up process again in a fresh browser session or incognito window
3. Account Name Conflicts If you’ve previously attempted to create a QuickSight account, there may be a partial account creation that’s causing conflicts.
4. Permission Issues Ensure your AWS account has the necessary permissions to create QuickSight resources. Free Tier accounts should have these by default, but it’s worth verifying.
If the issue still persist, Contact AWS Support directly through your AWS Console.
