Hi @Vaibhav.narwade - I believe you can replace the new file while uploading to QuickSight. Can you please share the screenshot for more details.

Hi @Vaibhav.narwade - Is it possible to delete the sheet 1 and then upload it again? Give a try.

Hi @Sanjeeb2022 ,

I know dear but i have prepared a report/Analysis.
If i deleted then i have to prepare all from scratch na.

Hi @Vaibhav.narwade - Got it. Need to check this and replicate at my end. In parallel, let’s hear from other folks.

Please verify this method.
I don’t know this could work on the linked dataset.

Thank you for your guidance.

Hi @Vaibhav.narwade - Yes, this should work as in the analysis you are referring to new data set. However you have 2 datasets available in QS which may not be an efficient approach . This can be consider as a work around solution. Ideally QS should overwrite the existing dataset and refer the update schema.

Hi @Sanjeeb2022 ,

Please suggest the best approach.

Hi @Vaibhav.narwade

I have basically used the same approach you have taken and it is a smooth transition. When additional columns are added to the excel file, if you keep them at the end then things work fine. The problem is when existing columns are altered or deleted. I don’t see a way around other than the one you have taken.

With relational sources this does not pose a problem and changes in the columns fetched works fine in the dataset and there is a way to deal with them in the analysis.
