Whenever I have an error while saving a Calculated Field the error message is quite vague. My question is not specific to a scenario, but I feel QuickSight can do a better job by telling precisely what is wrong than a generic -
“We encountered an error trying to save your calculated field. Please try creating it again.”

I agree that a more in depth error message could be a nice addition so that users have a more accurate pin point on their error to address. I will mark this as a feature request to promote visibility to the support team.
