Account name

Hi,

Right now my QuickSight account name is Digital360, but I need to change it to Nextwork360.
How can I do that?

Hello Andreab,

Unfortunately No. You cannot change a QuickSight account name after it has been created. The account name is permanent once set during the initial account creation.

If you need to use a different account name, you would need to:

  1. Create a new QuickSight account with the desired name

  2. Migrate your content (users, datasets, analyses, dashboards, etc.) to the new account

  3. Delete the old account to stop charges

If the old account does not have any assest/users or in a position to get decommissioned , you may delete it and while recreating you could choose the desired name.
