I have a card with a distinct count filter (calculated) based on numbers of uuids. I want to create an action for the user to click on this number according to the sensitization of the date control filter, and for this counter to be sensitized in a spreadsheet below with all the information about these uuids, however when creating the action I receive the message “The source visual element does not contain any fields.”.

Would you be able to share a little bit more information on what you’re looking to achieve? What type of visual are you using? What fields in that visual are you using that you’d like to attach an action to?
Have you created your table for the additional uuid information? If so, what fields did you use for that as well?
Any screenshots of visuals being utilized in the scenario would be very helpful as well!

Hi @Breet, I’m using 1 visual (KPI) and 1 table. I want the KPI result to display the table when the user clicks on the KPI visual.
First of all, the visual KPI is being sensitized by a date filter in the control.
In the KPI visual I am using the ‘uuid’ field with a count of distinct numbers, and in the table the same ‘uuid’ field and more.

Thank you for sharing! So it looks like you’re receiving the error due to not having a field in the ‘trend group’ section of the KPI visual. Normally that affects your filter scope.
Maybe a work around for this would be if you create another calculated field to create a rank for the uuid and then use that for trend group. It will then become a field that’s visible in the filter scope.

I have doubt that you may be using the Filter action as the action type. If that were the case then there is no filtering criteria available for the interactions since your value in the KPI is a count and not a uuid value.
I guess you could use the Navigation action and it should take the user to the table without issues.

@Giridhar.Prabhu, the only problem with using a navigation action for this scenario, it looks like their table is on the same sheet, navigation is for jumping to another sheet.
