"ADD New Schedule" -Refresh button- Greyed out


I am trying to schedule a refresh for my excel file that is on shared drive but for some reason the “ADD New Schedule” is greyed out. Can you please help me in what might be causing this? Is it a access issue?

Hi @Abdul_Mohammed,

You can’t add a refresh schedule for a dataset that uses an Excel file. QuickSight doesn’t have a connection to your shared drive, so it can’t automatically get updates from it. You’ll have to manually re-upload the file in the dataset to refresh it.

Thanks @David_Wong . The same is applicable to csv as well ( where user has to upload the files manually).
