Analysis suddenly doesn't get data

Hello everyone,

I have an analysis which suddenly doesn’t get any data anymore.
Spice loads the data and gives out the message that the update was successful. But the data preview runs into a timeout and doesn’t show anything.
So I am not sure if Spice really worked correctly or if the error is somewhere else.

Did any of you also experience something like this or has any idea how to solve this issue.

@Felix_Krall, do you see any error message in analysis? can you double check to confirm that dataset associated with the analysis is the same dataset that was refreshed? With regards to SPICE dataset load, you can review the dataset loads on the dataset editor page, refresh tab.

Hi @DeepakS,

there is no error message besides that there is no Data found.
I suddenly have the same issue with a direkt query. So it looks as if the Analysis doesn’t pull data. But for the set up the Analysis and Dashboard worked fine.
Could this be an setting option or something like that?

@Felix_Krall, can you create a new sample analysis with 1-2 visual and check if data is rendering in these visuals. Also are you able to preview data in dataset editor? If not then I would recommend filing a case with AWS Support where we can dive into the details so that we can help you further. Here are the steps to open a support case. If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf. Hope this helps!
