I’ve recently started using QuickSight for my company’s reporting. I notice that there are always some blurry elements on Dashboards. Often it’s axis or data labels. It seems random.
This was already raised almost a year ago: Blurry Data Labels in Pie Chart (How to Fix?) - #4 by Xclipse
FYI @Xclipse, as you archived the previous thread, but this issue, which I consider a rather basic bug, isn’t resolved.
Hello @Max_Pelz hope this message finds you well
Telling you the truth, I did not understand your question.
Looks like you have seeing a burry in the graphs but even in your example in the other post, I can not see that. Can you show us a example of this again?
tks
Hi @lary_andr and thanks for the quick response! Maybe “blurry” is the wrong word, but I routinely have elements that are not as “crisp” as the rest of the dashboard. Here are side-by-side x-axes showcasing what I mean (I can’t show data labels as this one is in production).
On the right, it’s as crisp as you would expect. On the left, it weirdly isn’t, exactly how OP described and showed in the post I linked. This is not due to label size and appears to be gone when enhancing a visual to full-screen, exactly as @Xclipse said.
@Max_Pelz now I understand you.
And it’s happend a lot in my graphs too!!
I never understand the real reason of that but, now I use something that completely change the way I deal with the definition of my graphs: Highchart!!
I do not know if you already use that, but this guarantees the maximum definition as it can be.
This is the official documentation of how you can apply that in you graphs, but there is a lot of application example here in the community
hope this help you!!
Thanks for the suggestion! I’m trying it out. Kind of fell off my radar, but pretty cool feature.
Also, turns out that for others, the visual is crisp as is already
(it’s not my monitor, though)
