I’ve recently come across a potential issue. I am trying to publish a dashboard and enable Q&A but the option is greyed out? This is strange because I have enabled Manage Dashboard Q & A, which shows on the analysis, but as soon as I tried to publish, the Allow option is greyed out. Is there a step I am missing? The documentation isn’t much help as it’s already outdated. Pics below for reference

When you hit the ‘Manage Q&A’ option, you need to select the second choice ‘Use a linked topic for Build Visual and Q&A’.
Then you’ll select the topic you’d like to link to the dashboard. Once you make that selection and hit ‘Apply Changes’ the box will then automatically add a checkmark.
Thanks for that @Brett , may i ask then what the purpose of the 1st option is then? I was under the impression one could use the QnA feature without needed to create topics every time.

I’m not completely sure on this but I believe the first option is more regarding using the dataset for AI assistance from the analysis view; I’m not quite sure why it’s an option in the publishing menu since it even states it’s for ‘build visual’, which would be on analysis not dashboard.
