Hi community,
Is it possible to change visual type dynamically with same dataset? Like line to pie and vice-versa.
I want to provide a drop down which will contain two options 1) Line, 2) Pie. If user chooses line, line chart should present data and if user chooses pie, then pie should replace line chart for that frame and same data is presented by pie.
Thanks and regards,
Raghu

Hello Raghu,
May be you could use free form layout to acheive what you are looking for.
Please see the following old post for reference -
hey, guys.
I’m trying to use free form layout to creaate a filter with 5 options, when i select an option displays related visuals while hiding the rest.
However, the only way i’ve found to make this work is by stacking the visuals on top of each other. Is there a way to make a visual disappear and have the subsequent visuals move up to a specific point?
It seems challenging to edit if I have to stack all 5 groups of visuals on top of each other.
I have a survey that I have run for two different teams. Team 1 does have 5 questions and while other one have 8 questions. I want to build one analysis for both teams so that it’s easy to manage. The challenge - Since I have put 8 visuals, when team 1 logs in they see 3 visual blocks with no data.
What I want to achieve - When team 1 logs in, they see 5 visuals blocks and team 2 see 8 visuals blocks.
Any guidance/hack to achieve this?
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Deep
