I’m exploring QuickSight for building interactive dashboards and was wondering if there is a feature similar to the Chiclet Slicer in Power BI. In Power BI, the Chiclet Slicer allows for a highly customizable and visually appealing way to filter data, using buttons or tiles instead of standard dropdowns or sliders.
Is there an equivalent feature in QuickSight that provides similar functionality, or are there any recommended workarounds to achieve a similar user experience?
Hi @Matteo_Saul and welcome to the QuickSight community!
After exploring the chiclet slicer capabilities in Power BI a bit more; currently there is not a comparable feature within QuickSight. There are work arounds to create buttons, but to have the same functionality like being able to toggle those fields on and off a visual may not be achievable through the current work arounds. You can see more about button creation at the article linked below:
I agree though that this is a neat feature that could be a nice addition to QuickSight. So I’ll tag this as a feature request to promote visibility to the support team.
Hi @Matteo_Saul,
While I’ve marked this as a feature request already, I wanted to follow up to see if you had any additional questions regarding your topic?
If we do not hear back within the next 3 business days, I’ll close out this topic.
