Converting topics to the new Generative AI experience with Q

Reading this article from the docs about how to convert topics.

It does not show me the “Convert” button next to my topic. I can’t see anywhere to enable a setting to allow the new experience.

I just set up Quicksight 1 week ago, so it’s a brand new implementation.

Does anyone have a clue about what could be going on here?

well found the answer to my own question right after posting of course, but just in case I’m not the only one. My instance is in US-EAST-2, and Generative BI is not available in that region.

Hello Darye,

Yes your understanding is correct.
Amazon Q (GenBI Capability) in quickSight is not available yet in US-East-2 but QuickSight Q.
