I am wondering if there is any way to create a custom action button to allow viewers to click on the button and export the visual as a csv. I understand that you can export as a csv by clicking on the action menu for the visual, however, I want to create a separate button entity that says “export as csv” or the like and performs this action. Is this possible and can you refer me to documentation to help me achieve this?

Unfortunately, there is not an option to create a custom “Export as CSV” button within a dashboard or visual, this action is only available via the built-in menu (the ellipsis at the top‑right of each visual).
