Custom Download button

Hi,
we have Export to csv option for each visual. Is there anyway we can add a custom download button and give this option there?

Hi @Nada - Thanks for the question. I do not think it is possible to add a custom download button as QS is a SaaS product and managed by AWS completely. By saying this, let’s hear from other experts on this. Tagging @duncan @David_Wong for their opinions.

Hi @Nada,

Thanks for your question. Is the ask to be able to enable/disable a button inside the visual for exporting to CSV? Instead of having to select the ellipsis->“Export to CSV” as shown below?

If so, can I ask you to share an example of how this might look and possibly explain why this is preferred to the existing menu option?

Very sorry for my late reply.

Actually i need a custom button other than the “export to csv” Option. The advantage of this being if someone who doesn’t know about the dashboard should able to download the data from the visualization without any confusion.

No worries at all. Unfortunately, there is not an option to add that feature or other customized options. I’ll mark this as a feature request and archive.
