We have more connectors like Slack, Gmail, Teams, Calenders and so on. Can we connect S3, Redshift kind of services from Quick Desktop?

As far as I know. Here’s how data source connectivity works across the different Quick surfaces:

Quick Desktop — Data Source Connectivity

The Quick Desktop application is primarily designed for:

  • Local file intelligence — it can work with files on your computer without uploading them
  • Personal knowledge graph — learns from your local documents, people, projects
  • Scheduled agents — meeting prep, daily briefings
  • Browser automation

It connects to apps like Slack, Teams, Outlook, calendars, and similar productivity tools. However, AWS data services like S3 and Redshift are not connected directly through the Desktop app itself.

Where S3 & Redshift Connect

For connecting to Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift, and other relational/cloud data sources, you need to use the Quick Sight web app (the BI layer within Quick). Quick Sight supports a wide range of data sources including :

  • Amazon S3 / S3 Analytics / S3 Tables
  • Amazon Redshift / Redshift Spectrum
  • Amazon Athena
  • AWS Glue Data Catalog
  • Databricks, Google BigQuery
  • MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, SQL Server
  • And many more
