Hi, in quicksight amazonbi, I have order_day in the control panel which is range of start and end date, I want by default for it to select the current day for start and end. I have already setup relative date as today, but still when I close and open the dashboard it goes back to the date I had selected previously. Can anyone please let me know how do I fix this

Hi @Quicksight_beginner ,

From the snippet I could see the filter still configures it as 31st May to 31st May as per configuration of rolling date.

Can you kindly add a quick snip of what you are able to see in controls and what value you expect?

Right, so today if i selected 05/01 and I close the dashboard, reopen it tomorrow I will see by default 05/01 selected instead of current day
I want to fix that

If I understand the problem correctly, since Quick Sight stores the control preference it reloads the same control setting for the same user accessing the dashboard. You can reset the filters in the dashboard.

Ahh okay, so for the same user when he/she reopens the dashboard after closing it, it doesn’t show the current date you mean and that can be done only by resetting it

Yes, and this applies to any control. Even for text controls you will see similar behaviour.
