Default Date in Parameter

There should be a simple a way for you to just set your organization’s fiscal calendar under default date when creating a new Parameter. Everything doesn’t have to be a calculated fields. This is 2024. Other BI tools out there allows you to easily define your fiscal year via easy drag and drop. I would have expect that under the relative date when creating a new Parameter, one should just select something like Day, Month, Year (This, Previous, Next, Last N or Next N)

For instance if my organization fiscal year is April 1 to March 31 then I should just select

StartParameter
Day = 1, Month = 4, Year = This

EndParameter
Day = 31, Month = 3, Year = Next
