Deleting and Managing Users: Transferring Assets

Hi, I’m trying to manage my Quick users. Was the ability to delete users andtransfer assets removed? I don’t see that option in the Quick Admin console anymore.

Take a look at the following documentation, which should help you transfer ownership, grant, and revoke permissions on Quick Suite assets.

Please note that only users with an Admin role have access to transfer ownership.

I am using an Admin account and am specifically asking about when deleting a user if that option has since changed to no longer have the ability to transfer assets upon user deletion.

I also don’t see the transfer option when going to the assets page like you linked.

Thank you for confirming. Since the Transfer option isn’t appearing for you on the Manage Assets page. I’d recommend trying the following:

  • Clear your browser cache or try accessing Quick Suite in an Incognito/Private browser window.
  • Try a different browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge) to rule out a browser-specific rendering issue.

If the Transfer button still does not appear after the above steps. I would recommend filing a case with AWS Support where we can dive into the details so that we can help you further. Here are the steps to open a support case. If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf.

@Xclipse, do you see the Transfer option on the Manage Assets page? If so, could you verify what asset or provide a screenshot?
