Drop-down filter through parameter creation, not showing the selection for values

Hello,

I want to create a drop-down filter from a calculated field- File Validation. This calculated field is created in the analysis.

The filters are :

File size is Greater, please check
File size small, please check
File size is good

How do I create a drop down filter through parameters, Because after creating the parameter, it is still not able to show values only for a particular select, as it is not attached. How do I attach? As you can in screenshot, it shows all for that particular drop down filter even if I have selected for File size is greater, please check.

FYI- the dropdown that contains the values are also from a calculated field and not connected to a dataset field

Also the newly created parameter doesn’t show up in the filters.

My second question is how I show multiple values here, though a comma? or just one value per line?

Hi @dsahu, please review the following Adding filter controls to analysis sheets and Using a control with a parameter. Here is the instructions to Attach/Connect to parameters in Amazon QuickSight.

And to answer your second question, it’s just one value per line.
