I have text column to show Alphanumeric IDs, when i use that column in filter its showing as dropdown list plus below information box and in control at top of sheet its not showing any of the values.. how should i change this to text box or show values?

problem here is that you have too many distinct values, as specified, so you cannot show the values here in the dropdown.
If you want to change the filter to a Text Box, you can change Filter Type to Custom Filter.
That would mean that the final user still has to know the exact value he/she want to get.
The dropdown with the Search Box is probably the best solution, cause by starting typing, you will find suggestions and that can guide the final user.
