Excutive Summary for the Sheet is currently not available... why?

I have dashboards that I have created in Quicksight, that I have enable Executive Summary on. My account is currently an Author Pro Account.

Most of the time (like 9/10 times) when I go to Build and Executive Summary, I get an answer that says “A summary for the sheet is currently not available”. This will sometimes happen on a dashboard that previously I was able to create a summary for after selecting a filter.

What are the requirements to create an Executive Summary? Why does this sometimes work and sometimes not even on the same Dashboard Sheet, with no difference other than different things being selected in the filters?

If you have all the require permission and it works but fails at times then I would recommend filing a case with AWS Support where we can dive into the details so that we can help you further.

Here are the steps to open a support case. If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf.
