Filled map for Singapore

Hello,

I would like to use the filled map to color map out Singapore by region (North Northeast, Central, East, West). Is this possible?

Hi @dixerio

Please note that the default setting for each hierarchy in your dataset is based on the country field you selected when you initially created it.

If you need to adjust this default, you can easily do so by returning to the “Create hierarchy” screen. From there, you can edit the existing hierarchy and select a different country. Making these adjustments will help ensure your data visualizations are accurate and relevant.

Please refer the below documentation this might be helpful for you.

Hi @Xclipse ,

I have already created a hierarchy and set it to my country. However, it does not fill up my map.

A sample data that I input is

region count
north 34
west 48
east 52
northeast 12
central 5

My region column is also set to “State” datatype.

What kind of data should I input to make the country map appear with these regions?

In addition, from the documentation Quicksight filled map allow Districts, Constituencies, Wards for Singapore. When I try to play around by inserting these data, it doesn’t fill. What exact data is the filled map expecting?

@Xclipse turns out it’s my browser cache causing some weird issue after I came across another user with similar problem.

Thanks for your help!
