Hello! I downloaded the standalone application and went through the set-up. However, with every prompt I try. I get no responses. I’ve tried restarting and re-granting perms but nothing seems to be working. The app is totally non-responsive. Any ideas?

I have a couple of quick things to check:

Sign-in. Go to Settings → Capabilities → Connections → Authentication and confirm you’re fully signed in. If auth isn’t completed, the app can’t reach the AI models.

Full restart. Quit the app completely and relaunch.
A few clarifying questions that would help:

Are you using the Amazon Quick desktop app, or are you referring to something within QuickSight itself?

What OS are you on (Mac/Windows)?

Do you see any loading indicator when you send a prompt, or does absolutely nothing happen?

Is there an error message anywhere, or just silence?

I fixed it! I had to go to the ‘Danger Zone’. After clearing all data and trying again it worked.
Well…nevermind it happened again. When I go to Connections it shows…nothing. When I go to explore options I have tons that I’m connected with. What’s going on?

That is definitely some interesting behavior, especially since it shows your connections within Options. Without revealing any sensitive data, could you please specify or send a screenshot of any errors or behavior you are encountering (as that could help us better figure out why this is occurring for you)?
In the meantime, I would also definitely recommend creating a support ticket with AWS Support, as they will be able to better assist if this is indeed an account-related issue or something similar.
