I created a flow and I keep receiving emails that say “The run is paused. Review the action to continue the flow run.” but the whole point of creating the flow was so that, when it was published, it would automaticall send the email/there would be no action required from me.
I tried asking this directly in the chat and it kept telling me to disable the need for approval/review, but there were no settings that allowed me to do this. How can I remove the need to review this automated email?
Just checking back in since we haven’t heard back in a bit. Were either of you able to see Deep’s reply and/or find a solution in the meantime?
If you still have any additional questions related to your initial post, please feel free to share them. Otherwise, any update you’re able to provide within the next 3 business days would be helpful for the community.
I am afraid, the account you have mentioned is AWS internal. please reach out to AWS internal team. This is a public forum and colleagues would not have information about it to be shared.
To provide some additional context to this scenario; Deep’s response is more referencing the step relating to the sharing of an asset.
In regards to flows specifically, and the ability to disable confirmation prior to actions (like sending of an email) to take place, there is an option that can be selected when initially building the flow and setting up a schedule.
One note to add though, from our internal testing, this feature may not be fully operational yet though. After setting this option, we still received a notice that approval was needed prior to the Email sending.
I can’t say if this is a bug with the feature or if it’s still in the works though so I’ll mark this as a feature request to promote visibility to the support team.
