Scheduling Workflow issue

Hi,

Does anyone know why a workflow created on Quicksuite would not run and complete the requested actions under the scheduled time I’ve set to it?

Hi @fueolvin and welcome to the Quick Community!

If you go to flows and go to the ‘my schedules’ tab, do you see the scheduled run that you created and see if the status is ‘active’? Additionally, are you doing any actions in the flows like sending slack messages or emails? Sometimes actions like those require additional approval which can stop a scheduled run.

Moreover, if you keep experiencing the same issue, I would recommend submitting a support ticket and the support team will be able to further investigate the cause of this. Please refer to this resource on how to submit a ticket (Case management - AWS Support).

Hi @JacobR Thanks for your reply. Yes, one of the action I have is to send a message to a slack channel is there any way I can get sort out or it would always require the human intervention to send it?

Hi @fueolvin ,

From my understanding, actions like sending messages or emails currently require that additional layer of approval. I cannot speak on any product roadmaps, but I want to say that I heard on a user series webinar that the Quick team may be working on ways to reduce the number of approvals that are required.

I would recommend keeping an eye out on the ‘What’s New’ page for any relevant updates (Latest What’s New topics - Amazon Quick Community).

Hi @fueolvin,

Just checking back in since we haven’t heard from you in a bit. I wanted to see if the guidance shared earlier helped resolve your question, or if you found a solution in the meantime.

If you still have any additional questions related to your initial post, feel free to share them. Otherwise, any update you’re able to provide within the next 3 business days would be helpful for the community.

Thank you
