Geospatial data showing ‘ambiguous' which is working before for postcode

We have different dashboard with postcodes populated on the maps but recently on checking it did not show the data as showing result of geocoding is ambiguous for I have already added the geospatial hierarchy. The postcodes belong to the UK. So please look into it as our clients are mentoring the data from the dashboards.

Hello @waqar1, welcome to the QuickSight community.

This is the 2nd question I am seeing that has an issue that may be linked with country codes, and I know post codes have had issues as well. Are you able to add another level of hierarchy to the dataset like City to improve the structure of the data and provide another link for the dataset?

I would also recommend filing a case with AWS Support where we can dive into the details to help you further. Here are the steps to open a support case. If your
company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf. I hope this helps!

hierarchy can only be added at the country level.

Hello @waqar1, you can add multiple levels of geographic hierarchy within QuickSight from the dataset level. If you look at the third step in this documentation about geospatial data, it mentions how to add hierarchies within the dataset. This may help improve QuickSights understanding of the geospatial data in the analysis.

Hello @waqar1, do you still need further assistance with this issue? I will mark my above response as the solution, but if you still need help after reaching out to customer support, I can guide you further. Thank you!
