How can I get my headers to align in this dashboard?
See how ‘item type’ and ‘status’ are not aligned with ‘customers’? What causes that and how can I fix this so they are all aligned equally.

The misalignment in your table headers imay be likely due to the default alignment settings in Amazon QuickSight. To fix this alignment issue, you can customize the header text alignment in the Properties pane.
Assuming the visual is table chart - please refer here
First, select your table visual and open the Format visual menu - please refer here
Then, in the Properties pane, choose Headers.
For header text alignment, you can choose a horizontal alignment icon - options include left alignment, center alignment, right alignment, or automatic alignment.
For pivot tables, you can separately adjust alignment for both column headers in the Columns section and row headers in the Rows section.
Unfortunately, it’s not currently possible to set different alignment behaviour’s for individual columns in a table - any alignment changes would apply to the whole table. see old post here
You can also adjust vertical alignment by choosing a vertical alignment icon (top, middle, or bottom.
Additionally, if your headers contain text that’s too long to fit, you can select the “Wrap text” option, though you may need to increase header height as well.

I messed with all of that before opening the ticket. Clicking bottom only adjust the cell values and not the headers.

Please see below how it works for table chart. Is all columns for the header. I assume not sure though you chart is pivot ?

That’s the difference apparently. We are using pivot tables. Not sure why or what the benefit is. Not sure why they don’t align when using a pivot table though.
Is there a way to have them align properly when using a pivot table? @Deep

Can you show an anonymized screenshot (data blurred) of your visual, the field wells with chart type, and your format visual menu in the properties panel? If the screenshot in your first post is a pivot table, I’m curious how the formatting is set up.
One thing to keep in mind is that on tables, integer and number data type fields will have headers that are automatically right justified.
