How can I create a parameter that takes the value from a date variable in the dataset?

I do not want to create a control.

I want to populate the Alternatives Timestamp card with the value from the Alternative_Timestamp column, filtered by SC-ID and Supplier.

Initially, I tried to achieve this using a parameter, but I don’t know how to create a parameter that dynamically takes its value from a date field in the dataset.

As an alternative, I considered using a KPI card. However, in the KPI visual, I can only display count or count distinct, and not the actual value of the date field.

Is there a way to display the filtered date value in a card visual?

Another option would be a KPI card, however in the KPI card we can only show count or count distinct and not the value of the date variable.

Hi @01267ts,
Why don’t you add the alternatives timestamp field to a table visual. Then you can hide everything but the cell portion; including the title, headers, background, etc.
This will essentially give you a KPI that can hold string values (and you can just filter it down by your to controls, that way it provides a unique value.
