How can we configure direct query to invoke automatically after a period of time?

Is there a way where we can set time for our direct Query dataset to be updated automatically after some defined timeperiod?

Edit dataset or on creation of new dataset. You will see the left bottom side

I am using direct query to get data in my dataset. Is it appliable on direct query as well? Coz I can not find this option for direct query.

This is single place where direct query option available. on dataset only.

@musama if the idea behind auto running direct query is to auto-refresh dashboard, you can use auto-refresh dashboard option available for direct query datasets. Please refer this post Auto dashboard page refresh questions
