I’m playing around with an Author Pro user to test some Q features.
I’ve seen that regarding the Generative BI authoring experience, there are 3 main functionalities:
But I’m not able to find the last one anywhere

Thank you for posting.
This documentation is up to date.
To use this feature, you need to navigate to the visual you want to edit, choose “Edit with Q,” describe the task you want performed, and then choose “APPLY”.
After reviewing the changes, you can either close the Edit visual modal if satisfied or choose “Undo” and enter a new prompt.

But I am unable to find such “Edit with Q” feature. Where should it appear?
I am able to generate a visual with Q, but I can’t see an editing option in the top menu or in the contextual menu of the visual.

Please can you go to your Manage Quick Sight from the top right hand corner of your profile, then manage pricing and confirm if Amazon Q in Quick Sight subscription is active. Also confirm under manage users you have the role for your user to be author pro. This should resolve the issue. Please do let me know if you have further questions

Hi @demola, I confirm that Amazon Q is active and that I can access many other functionalities like the Build Visual, Executive Summary, Q&A, etc.
Can I ask if you can share some screenshots of the position of any “Edit with Q” menu entries?
Thanks! It seems that in my console I am missing all the icons close to the “Edit with Q” one.
Is there a configuration option that might disable them all? Could you point me out where this could be set? I’ll have my admin reviewing our settings

Check with your admin for permissions if you did not create the analyses.
