I am trying to create the waterfall chart as per the attached image. I am working on Defects data where I would like to show the newly added defects vs Closed defects in particular month. Can this be achieved by customizing the waterfall chart using high charts ?

While waterfall charts are an available option within Quick Sight; looking through the highcharts library, I don’t see any examples or options that show this type of setup for a waterfall chart.
Some of this may depend on how your dataset is structured; but if this view is achievable, I believe it would require separate series to be setup for each of your defect values so you’d essentially be graphing two sets of data and overlapping them within the visual to give the desired look.
