Hi team, I’m trying to create a very simple “sum({value})” calculated field in a spice dataset but I’m getting the following error “We encountered an error trying to save your calculated field. Please try creating it again.”
How can I debug the reason? it is odd, it’s a simple sum.

HI @Andrea this things happened when you give the calculated field name as same as your dataset field name try once with a new calculated field & give a new name.
I think you can get the result after doing this.
Thanks, but this wasn’t the case. I solved by logout and re-login. Very odd. It would be good anyway to have a way to debug these issues, I forgot to look at the console? I hope something will appear there but if anyone know a way to debug, please tell

unfortunately there is no debug feature provided in calculation field edit screen.
