How to handle Union in quicksight?

Welcome to Quick Sight Community .

As of today best way to handle Union is to use CUSTOM SQL and do the UNION/UNION ALL at the datasource level .

Hi @Yuxiu_Gan A union all requires the same columns to be in the same positions for both queries. For example you might look to do select customer_id,date from table1 UNION ALL select customer_id,date from table2 If the names are different you would need to rename them to a similar name. I’m assuming that’s the issue.

Union all between datasets

No; using 'union all 'sql function is not possible through joining datasets in Quick Sight. If the datasets are coming from the same datasource in Quick Sight you can use the custom SQL to use ‘UNION ALL’. But otherwise, it is not (yet) possible as far as I know. And I used QS quite extensively already.
